Cartier Tank Americaine

The Tank Americaine was introduced in 1989 to add a bigger Tank to the already well-established Tank collection. The watch ( biggest variation of tank Americaine collection) is curved at the front but has a fairly flat back, which adds to its presence on the wrist. This watch has a lovely off-white dial, with the hidden signature in the VIl numeral.

The classic-Cartier blued steel hands, including a centre-seconds hand, perfectly play against the signature sapphire blue cabochon. The watch will come on the pictured handmade honey cowhide strap, that is fitted with a white gold Cartier buckle. This Tank Americaine has a manual wind movement that has been fully serviced by our watchmaker before the listing.
