Longines 13zn Chronograph Oversize

Longines was one of the most respected manufacturers back in the 19th and early- to mid-20th century, especially of high precision chronographs.

After an approximately 23-year production of the

13.33Z chronograph, in 1936 Longines began to produce one of the most technologically advanced chronograph movements at the time - the Caliber 13ZN.

This was the first chronograph mechanism equipped with the flyback, or retour-en-vol, function. Besides the movement, the 13ZNs came in a wide variety of cases and dials, another reason why collectors go crazy about this watch.

This one is cased in a 38mm, rose gold case 18K with a fanct lugs design.

This watch was sold in Brazil in 1946 and is in incredible conditions.
