There was a time when the early Bubbleback watches were the hottest Rolex watches on the planet, with collectors paying huge sums for these small, yet perfectly formed watches. Over the last couple of years interest has finally returned to these mighty yet diminutive Oysters.

The example we are offering today remains in outstanding condition with a strong steel case with characteristic domed case back.
This watch has a nice twist in that it is fitted with a smooth rose gold bezel and matching winding crown. The two-tone (black/salmon) dial is totally original and is designated CHRONOMETRE and has gold roman numerals.
The rarity of this watch lies mainly in the inscription "Giudici Milano," a famous watchmaker that imported Rolex to Italy in the 1930s/40s.
